Retro Adventure is a classic platform game inspired by old 8‑bit and 16‑bit era titles. You play as a small hero who travels through colorful worlds full of traps, moving platforms, enemies, and hidden treasures. The goal is to reach the end of each level without losing all of your lives. Along the way you can collect coins, gems, and power‑ups that increase your score or unlock special abilities. Each level gets a bit harder with faster enemies and trickier jumps, so good timing and control are important to keep moving forward.

You control your character with simple keyboard or touch commands. Use the arrow keys or the A and D keys to move left and right. Press the spacebar or the W key to jump, and hold the jump key longer to reach higher platforms. Press S to crouch or drop down through certain platforms. If the game includes an action or interaction button, such as E or F, you can use it to pull levers, open doors, or activate a special ability. On mobile devices you control the hero with virtual arrows and jump buttons, or by tapping and swiping on the screen.
The main challenge is learning the rhythm of movement and timing your jumps correctly. Watch enemy movement patterns and be patient before rushing ahead. Exploring every corner of a level often reveals hidden areas and secret rewards that help you advance and improve your score.
