Description
New Year Race is a multiplayer arcade game where two players compete to hold a gift box the longest within a time limit. The main gameplay involves controlling either Santa Claus or the Green Monster, racing to grab and retain the gift box while evading the opponent. The objective is to be the player holding the gift box when the timer runs out to win. This HTML5 browser game challenges players to snatch the gift box and avoid letting the rival take it. Each match lasts two minutes, requiring quick reflexes and strategic movement to keep possession until the final seconds. The game features simple controls and a festive New Year theme, with a focus on head-to-head competition. Players must balance aggression to steal the box with defensive tactics to prevent the opponent from reclaiming it. The winner is determined solely by who holds the gift box at the moment the timer expires.
