Description

Faraday Game is an educational physics simulation that demonstrates electromagnetic induction through interactive gameplay. This HTML5 browser game falls under the simulation and science genres, with the main gameplay involving manipulating a magnet to alter magnetic flux within a coil. The core objective is to generate sufficient electrical current to illuminate a light bulb, testing the player's understanding of electromagnetism. The game features two primary modes: Angular mode, where players rotate the magnet, and Linear mode, where the magnet is moved vertically. Scoring is based on achieved voltage levels, with medals awarded at 24 V, 60 V, and 110 V. The interface is available in English and Portuguese. An Easter egg feature allows players using multiple touches or key presses to unlock a hack mode for exploring higher voltages. This interactive tool was created by Prof. Dr. Rafael João Ribeiro and offers a fun, educational approach to learning Faraday's Law through direct experimentation with magnetic fields and induced current.

Instructions

Goal: Maximize the light bulb's intensity by generating the highest possible voltage through electromagnetic induction. Controls: In Angular mode, rotate the magnet using a single tap or click and drag. In Linear mode, tap or click and drag to move the magnet vertically. Simple one-button or screen-tap mechanics apply across both modes.
